Razer problems

Thread Starter
I've had 3 different Razer mice until now.
The first one was the DeathAdder, with the 1800dpi sensor, it was nice and all, but then the 3500dpi edition came, and I got the newer one.
It broke after 1 year (bad quality in the buttons), and I got myself the Imperator because I wanted on the fly dpi change.

I absolutely love the mouse, it's not as comfortable as the DeathAdder, but DeathAdder is probably the best mouse out there in terms of comfort.
I have a few problems though, one general problem Razer mice have (I'm not the only one) is that sometimes when you boot to Windows (I use Windows 7 64x) the mouse wont power on, and you need to unplug and then replug it into the USB port, sometimes even switch the USB port, this is really annoying and has happened with all the computers I've used and all Razer mice.

The more annoying thing though with the Imperator is... drum roll..
Not the Z-Axis tracking issue as some call it, it has 5600dpi so I never have to lift my mouse in the first place, let alone I don't think it's that bad to be honest, doesn't bother me at all.
But sometimes the sensor (or driver, don't know) will stop responding to one axis.
So for example when my cursor is in the middle of the screen, and I move my mouse to the top right corner, it will suddenly only move up, instead of up and right, then I start moving my mouse around like crazy and it only goes up and down, completely ignoring the x-axis.
It happens with the y-axis too, does anyone else have this issue?
The mouse is perfect otherwise, it pretty much reminds me of the G5 and G7 I had which were awesome, I'm so used to sensitivity buttons.

So anyone having issues with Razer mice?
I'm thinking of switching from Razer to something else but I'm not really convinced of Steelseries and Microsoft at least was a joke.
I haven't checked Logitech in a while though.

I'm going to go out on a limb and try to peddle you a mouse you've probably never heard of.

A4tech.

If it rings a bell, you're probably thinking that it's cheap and all sorts of things, but in reality, it's quite BETTER than the junk Razer peddle off at premium prices..

In particular, the X710BH, or if you prefer a laser mouse,

Just avoid the rubberized plastic versions, you should be fine.

"Inb4ZomgPTE doesnt track well on a soft pad. Get a hard pad. Ur using it on the wrong surfaz."

That's fine.

I dont agree with the fact a "mouse" should be picky on the surface it uses. Which is exactly the issue with certain laser sensors that are so popular in wannabe gamer mice.

Philips Twin Eye. You fail.

I agree. Love the QcK standard.

If this is the sort of quality I can expect from my Deathadder 3.5G then I'm going to be super pissed.
