thinking of upgraing phones

a moto razr to a moto slvr for the mp3 player reasons and i think i found it here (with contract agreement) for like 140 plus tax

any thing i should know before? it'll be at least the end of the week before i get it IF i get it

edit:how many songs can go on a 512mb card that fits in that phone

512mb? how many songs? it will really depend on how big the file of each song is or how long it is.. let's say on average, 128bit song is around 4mb so... 512/4 = 128...

why not get the V3i? it has itunes preinstalled

512 mb will store less songs then you think. you can always get a bigger card or reduce the quality of your mp3s to save space.

$140 with contract? which provider are you with? you can get it for 1 cent with Cingular with 2 yr contract.

i dont think the SLVR in the link you posted supports memory cards the L7 is the one to get with memory card support

Yeah he's right. A friend of mine has the SLVR L7 and I like it, just its screen is kinda small and the interface lags more than my E815.

I would look at the v3x or v3i as they really are a step in the right direction. I feel the SLVR is going backwards.
