Totally forgot how to overclock, please refresh me.

Thread Starter
Yesterday one of my sticks of RAM died (1GB) now I'm running with 5GBs of RAM. While trying to figure out why my computer wasn't booting I cleared my BIOS and lost my OC settings that I've had for a year and a half. I can't remember what values I entered so just want to know quickly what I should probably enter..as of now I have my multiplier at 8 and FSB to 400 (3.2Ghz) and set my RAM manually to 800Mhz for asynchronous. I have my CPU voltage at 1.45 and am going to see how low I can get it, but I forget what to set the NB volt to. Also, I should disable C1E and speed step correct?

Edit: Also someone pointed out to me that if I have 3 sticks of RAM on a LGA775 I'm running in single channel mode. Is this correct, because in CPU-Z under the Memory tab for Channels # it says Dual..

errr if your using 3 sticks of ram in any board using dual channel you would have to run dual channel, thats just logic. as for the overclocking side, really your doing it the wrong way around. you should start at stock and increase the FSB untill you fail Prime 95 or what ever you use for stressing your cpu, then when you find your fail point increase CPU Vcore untill you are stable again then continue to increase FSB. you only would touch the NB voltage if you find yourself in a point were you have increased your FSB and become unstable and no matter how much CPU Vcore you add it remains unstable.
