how many hours do you guys wear 3d nvidia glass for gaming, watch 3d movies? does it has limited hrs...for example like...u cant wear em for more than 7 hrs straight a day or it will give u side effects?

my main concern is...does it has side effects if u wear em for few hours straight.

Yes. For most people, they get headake's after 2 or so hours. People who have had one, said that they moved to an ips panel, or just the monitor without glasses.

Just got mines yesterday. Wore mines for most of the day testing out all my old games. Avatar so far looks the best in 3D and then WoW. 3-5 hours today(Maybe more, I'm not sure) playing games and no problems with eye strain or head aches. I took like a hour break though to bring my little brother to the doctor then played for another hour or so. Watched a 3D movie that lasted 2 hours last night too and had no problems. I love it though, it's a completely different experience and I enjoyed every minute of it. For games that actually go super 3D is just incredible.

From my homework I've been doing, since I'm a couple months from achieving 3D myself, it will vary from person to person. Some don't like it giving them nausea others love it like LivingChampion.

I hear that gaming in 3D is an awesome experience from many users on the Nvidia 3D Vision club thread I've been reading. The common enjoyment is it feels like your submersed inside the game on those that render 3D well. Things like the rain looks as if it's getting the keyboard wet, or bullets flying past your head in FPS.

It's suggested that a person gives themselves an hour break for every two-three hours of usage. It's also strongly recommended to not let children who's eyes are still developing more than a couple hrs a day.

On a side note but similar related....I read in PC World I believe that, Nintendo 3DS got sued from parents who's children's eyesight got worse from playing hours of 3DS. So now they have a disclaimer prior to playing it and on the box before purchase.

Haven't experienced much ghosting, but I would try to adjust the depth inside Nvidia CP. Increase or Lower. Good luck time for bed, it's 1AM and I have college at 8AM!

I would wonder if the glasses are perfectly synced to the monitor. Even a very small fraction of a second would make a huge difference.

I found this thread on Nvidia forums that talk about ghosting on your specific monitor Asus vg236h.

Read it and tell me if you find your solution. I'm also heading to sleep, almost 2am here and I get up at 8am.

Let us know what happened, good luck.

thanks, unfortunately that didnt work for me. i lower my asus monitor contrast. it looks a lot better, but ghosting is still there, just less noticeable.

oh theres Trace Free settings from 0 to 100 for my Asus VG236H monitor, im not sure what it for, does it related to ghosting? hope someone here can answer me or explain to me how to use it.
