Problem with my Motherboard?

Thread Starter
Hey Everyone, just bought the MSI P67A-G45 motherboard a few weeks ago. my system was working fine before i plugged in this motherboard. now the system will only turn on when i'm applying pressure to the 24-pin PSU--> MOBO main connector cord. then when i release the pressure, it shuts off. i don't know if that would be a PSU cord problem or the female-adapter on the MOBO. any ideas?

Pull off the connector and make sure all the female pins are seated properly in the plastic tab. Then reseat the power cable and make sure it is fully inserted.

If that doesn't work you may have a broken solder point at the MB/24pin interface.
