Computer Turns off and Problem when Boot-Up

Thread Starter
So,

About 1 minute ago my computer turned off randomly while I was playing Flight Simulator X.

When I turn it on, the fans start spinning but nothing shows up in the screen.

What should I do? Should I wait for it to cool down?

It's quite hot here...

+Rep if possible

I would wait for the system to cool down. Then once its cool again, start it up. ONce online again monitor CPU temps under normal load, if they are reasonable, start gaming agian. Periodically while gaming check CPU & GPU temps and watch them.

EDIT: If it still wont boot after a while, go into BIOS and remove all OC's you have and go back to stock

Are you getting any BIOS beeps?

If you have a spare video card swap it out for the 570 and see if you fully boot that way.
Well it could be the motherboard but it might be the psu.You can take out one part at a time and trouble shoot the issue but it really sounds like the psu are motherboard. You might want to run memtest86 in dos to rule that out also.Let us know and go from there.Good Luck.

If the systems hot, Id wait for it to cool down before jsut tearing into it. not for your own sake, but because it could be as simple as a heat issue.

Yeah, I can't swap out the video card at the time. I'll wait for it to cool down.

ALSO:

The HDD light indicator only lights up for 2-5 seconds, and doesn't go back on.

I have 2 hard drives on here.
