Honestly Im not super interested in buying a 300+$ card for one game. It seems to me that metro is the new crysis and will likely not even be maxed on the next gen cards. Take that game out of the picture, as it is not my primary concern.
Im far more concerned about mass effect 3, diablo 3(i realize it wont be that graphic intensive), rage, and whenever they come out with a new borderlands.
I can currently max borderlands, fallout 3, mass effect 2, starcraft 2, and a variety of other games.
I want a future looking card with lots of vram and decent efficiency/heat
Based on standard new generation hierarchy I probly wont spring for the 7970 but will opt for a 7870 or the like, which should have aprox 6950-6970 performance but be way more efficient.
Does this sound reasonable?
