I'll be grabbing this in the morning after I go run some errands. Add me on Steam, looks like a lot of fun.

The only thing that I don't like is people using the auto aim as a crutch, but that's just inevitable since you can't disable it in the server options.
thats why you take the stealth mod.

It increases the time it takes for them to get a lock, so by that time you have already got the advantage.

The depth of character building through upgrades, alternate ammos, and everything is fantastic.

This game qualifies for a full on $60 if a call of duty games still does. I think they are trying to build a fan base, and then after they get a large following, they will do full releases with more maps and features, not that this game is really lacking any features though.

Ive been focused on a defensive support build, i have all my skills focused on repairing and destroying structures. Then As soon as i get $100 i buy the mech and wreak havor.

From what i can see, the pulse cannon and missle launcher need a bit of a damage nerf, currently they are better for close range combat than the shotgun.

Sniper rifles can be annoying, but if you just put some more points into armor, it becomes a 3 shot kill, giving you enough time to get to cover usually.

Shame about the FOV - I do feel a bit restricted and nauseous when I play because of the default FOV. The game plays alright. I like the character building as well, with good team work, too. However, is it just me or does it feel a bit bland when shooting?
It needs more "umph" to the combat, with a little more strategy to it as well. The idea that aim assist is part of the options is ridiculous and, dare I say, it plays quite a bit like a washed-down console game. Overall, it's fun and for the £9.99 I paid for it, I can't complain about value for money.

plays nothing like a console game.

Because of the limited aiming abilities of controllers, the true 3 dimensional fighting and the fact that the fighting takes place on multiple tiers means they cannot actually keep up.

Seriously Watch some xbox videos of the game being played, and then watch some PC. PC gamers would eat them alive.

Agreed, it's very much a "Pc shooter." Some features make it seem consoleish but it's not all that bad. The only problem I see if the FOV for widescreen monitors, but all in all, it could be worse. Still one of the best Shooters out currently, and I think it'll be funner than Brink.

BTW, my GFWL handle is Falling Stairs, hit me up if any of you see me online, I'd be happy to play with you and show you some more advanced tactics, like timings and such. (Not saying I'm an incredible player, but I was for a long time one of the top 3 players in S8. Out of all 500 )

I didn't like it, the spawn system is dumb since people will spawn on top of you or behind you. I don't like shields at all, takes too long to kill someone in my opinion. Its worth $15, but a disappointment imo.

This is a perfect example of a noob.

Call in an AA turret and enemies cannot spawn on top of you. AA turrets will prevent enemies from spawning in a pretty good distance. When you Assault a point, it is a good idea to destroy the local AA turrets so reinforcements can drop in, then you toss down your AA turret and the enemy cannot spawn in to try and retake the point.

Shields take to long to kill someone, well take ammo that deals extra damage to shields instead.

The learning curve in this game is probably bigger than any game in recent history.
