The desires rubbery surface counters that... and a random fact, the only part on my desire thats scratched is on the aluminum around the screen, the rest looks new. Not too bad for it never being in a case and almost reaching its first birthday

No smartphones today have good cameras, tbh if you want good pictures buy a good camera, phone cameras are just for those quick shots where quality doesn't matter, and videos(which my desire excels at, 720p FTW!).

If you see videos about HTC Legend touch screen problem, notice that they don't hold it (ground it) because the touch relies on slight electric contact.
The touch is close to perfect if your holding it, all capacitive screens use the same tech so if its happening with it it should technically happen with all.

A friend of mine have the Desire and it feels good for a phone though slightly to large for my taste.

Another friend of me have the Nokia N8, just wow, those Carl Zeiss have really done it this time.

But the Legend has worse than the Galaxy, I tried it with around 4 different multitouch tests and when you line the fingers so that the cross shaped indicators collide it becomes very faulty.
