Looking to buy a new Video Card. NEED HELP! :) - Page 2

What are the specs of your PC dude. If your going to go and throw in a 560 on a dual core your going to be serveral bottlenecked.

And looking at that PC you have there...your going to be probably bottlenecking even a 460...

"Original post"

But I would recommend the Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Extreme when they have it in stock again
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102932

The original 5850 performs better than a 6850 and a 1Gb GTX460 on most occasions. It sits a little between a GTX 460 and 470, but sappire's extreme version has improved VRMs to improve power distribution and a better cooler to allow even better overclocking than the originals
http://techgage.com/article/sapphire...me_1gb_review/

Plus the card is priced WAY better than the 6850, 460 1GB, and 470

edit: another good article on it

I agree with veritas that 5850 looks like a great deal.

I hear ya. You said your budget was 150 and the performance that offers for 140 and free shipping is nothing to sneeze at.

Is $150 the budget for both PSU and GPU?
