Overclocked My E8400

Thread Starter

Hey,

I followed a video how to overclock my E8400 off Youtube:

1). How do I know the Overclock was successful?
2). One of my Graphics cards has dropped off :/

Cheers,
Lee.

Use CPU-Z to verify your overclock once in OS.

Your graphics card should still show though.

These chips seem to lower the multiplier while idle to save power. Under load, it goes to 3.6 (400mhz x9) and while idle it sits at 2.4 (400mhz x6).
