Yeah, I didn't mean this exact motherboard but one with onboard video.

Brutuz, i though it was not the amount of memory sticks that were important but the amount of memory itself ... that's what stresses the IMC.

Isn't it?

...support dual-channel memory.

...The motherboard has twop x16 PCIe slots and as announced by NVIDIA, will carry SLI support albeit in a 8:8 PCIe lane configuration.
Do not want...

At least it's good to see PCI is still kicking in next gen motherboards. I plan on using lots of PCI controllers.

i have always gotten better overclocks with just 2 dimms, over 4.
so in my case, it was less dimms vs amount or ram. (i tried 2x1gig, 2x2gigs, 4x1gig and 4x2gigs)

1 DIMM per channel always wields better results than 2 DIMMs per channel. Less stress on the IMC = better OC.

This, the Crosshair/Maximus are the best looking mobos out there imo.

Also, why do all these motherboard companies, I'm temped to say on mid range AMD boards although it exists on mid range Intel ones, insist of putting blue and white together? First off, that's doesn't look good with any other component in the system unless you have a vase of flowers in there. And secondly, if you ever want to put some CCFLs or LEDs in your case, these mobos just destroy any hope of it looking good. I do applaud them for finally moving to a black PCB and socket though.
