the last overkill i attempted was 2 9800gtx+ cards in sli, when they were first released.

ended up melting them into the slots and screwing my asus mobo on my 775 duo rig.

thus i dont not buy nvidia now, also martly because evga blamed it on me? lol they were a week old
That's a sad story actually lol but those cards had issues when ran by themselves didn't they?

It's a scam how they charge people anywhere from $10 to $20 dollars to "super clock" a card as weakly as they did.
Perhaps, but in SLI I highly doubt I would need an OC. Stock speeds would max everything I would play and still be overkill. Not that I'm against OCin them, I just don't really see the point. I just hope my 4.5 Ghz 2500k wouldn't bottleneck them at all.

Doesn't the money all go through Cali anyway. Aren't Memphis and New Jersey just "parts hubs". I send my money to corporate in Cali and they ship from Memphis.
