Would this ram fit my new mobo?

Thread Starter
I'm wondering would this ram : http://www.adm.hr/product_info.php?c...oducts_id=6518 fit my new mobo : http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...x?pid=3010&dl=

I mean in memory support list it's not listed , but then again they said they cannot test all modules so thats why i'm asking.

Oh and also , why is this memory 1333MHz but exactly the same price as 1600 MHz one? http://www.adm.hr/product_info.php?c...oducts_id=7340

How good is the 1600MHz memory (first link) that i'm willing to buy?
I know that the links are not foreign-user-friendly but the description is there!

I would go with the 1333. Unless you are overclocking, then go with the 1600. The reason for having the same price is because really there isn't much of a difference between the two. The main difference and really doesn't do much for you anyways is that 1600 overclocks better.

it should work but the speeds may be set to 1333 and will need to be put at 1600 in the bios, you getting the mb from same store, and what processor you using,
the 1600 is a higher binned memory because it can clock higher the 1333 is same just not able to hit 1600,

DDR3 is DDR3. Should fit and function.
First one is 'okay' but generally CAS9 is a bit high on the latency end.

@MClouse , well i will overclock my cpu and all , but i dont think i'll be touching the memory. And if they're the same price , why not go with the 1600MHz? What's the cons?
@richie , no , the mobo is already bought not from this store , only thing missing is the RAM ! CPU is Phenom II 720 BE

There really aren't any cons to be honest. I revoke my previous statement about the 1333...sorry about that.

same price, go for 1600. You can run them 1333 9-9-9 anytime, or even with lower timings, like 7-7-7

Go with the 1600 no matter what - it's the same price. 1600 is usually always the same price as 1333 generic nowadays anyway. if 1600 doesn't run successfully (it proably will), run the 1600 kit at 1333.

Allright 1600 it is. But would I be able to tighten it's timings on 1600? Or would I need to put em to 1333 to do so?
