p8p67 pro wont connect to the internet.

I have done a clean install of windows 7 and the mother board would not find the drivers for the network adapter. I went to asus website in a different computer download the driver for the network adapter, and now it can find connection, it says unidentified network, so I unplug my modem and router wait a bit replug, ok now I got internet, except that when I turn off the computer or restart it I lose connection again and I have to do the same thing. It's sending packets but not receiving.

I already have done another clean install this time using the cd drivers the board came with, but the same thing happens.

When you bought the motherboard, did you install the chipset drivers? The chipset drivers disk contains all of the necessary drivers.

yes, I installed all the drivers from the cd, but the problem persists. I just reset my modem and router now, and I got connection, I'm afraid when I restart or turn the pc back on, I'll not have internet again. What I'm doing now is downloading all the windows 7 updates, maybe one could fix it.

When it says "unidentified network" can you click it and try and connect to it? And yes, go ahead and give the driver installations a shot.

I just installed 80 windows updates and no fix for it, when the computer reboot to finish updates installation, it restarted with no access to the network/internet. Am I the only one? =/ also I dont see no ip set when it happens, it's like not getting my ip config from the router unless I reset the modem and router...

Have you tried directly connecting your computer to the modem?
