Will my CPU handle all this?

Thread Starter
Hello,
Well, I'm going Intel in about a month. But I wanna know if my 650 PSU can handle all this?

i7 2600k OCed
Asus SaberTooth P67 or something similar with Z68 Chipset
2 (Two) XFX HD 6850
3 (Four) 500GB 7200RPM HDDs
2 (Two) 2TB 7200RPM HDDs
Blu Ray Reader
Rasa 240 Wcing Kit
NXZT Sleeved 2M Leds
6 (Six) 120MM fans

And I think thats all... Do I have to change my PSU?

If Your refering to the antec one, then Yes that will be perfectly fine!
Really? I have my doubts about 2 GPU withs a WC loop and 6 HDD plus an OC'ed CPU on a 650 PSU. No doubt it's an Antec but I'd run it through a PSU calc to check.

I'm rather shocked. Have they made the 6000 series that much better with power efficiency? The 5850 I have needs 500 min & +170 for a 2nd which is 670 right there, let alone all those disk drives.

You have all that running already? Any graphic artifacts/crashing?

(On a side note, where would one find a good PSU calc?)

BTW, I tried another PSU calc and it drop 630Wats against 790wats from Newegg's one.

No, I'm not running all this right now... I'm running my rig as its on my System specs...

If it's the one in your sig, it should be high enough quality to be able to output enough wattage. Although my reference for the gpus is a 6950 cfx. I have no idea how a pair of 5850's does for power usage.
