No problems to speak of but I've only messed around with my gpu's for a day or so on air. About to get them up on h20 today.

As for profiles I usually install them right away after drivers install.

You can dl the latest profile from here. http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloa...-profiles.aspx
That should contain any and all profiles created up till then.

You say no CCC. Does that mean you installed the drivers only? Or did you install the package and do not see CCC? Sounds to me like an installation issue.

You're doing it wrong. (I think )

I have only used CCC and haven't installed my drivers without it before, so take that with a grain of salt. Having said that I do use CCC and the only issue I have with it is that it has a small problem actually turning all 3 of my tri-fire fans on when I'm gaming. To alleviate that I run GPU Shark in the background and it keeps them at whatever setting that I had in CCC and it works great. Also take note, using various OCing/monitoring programs (MSI Afterburner, Trixx, etc..) in the background while gaming BFBC2 has a KNOWN side effect with ATI cards causing it to crash, etc. I haven't noticed that while running GPU Shark for myself yet though. I'll give you a link below to research it more if you need.

Also do NOT run any driver sweeper programs and do not think that you have all the pre-installation before the driver installation finished. ATI drivers are a different beast than Nvidia so you need to do a manual uninstall/reinstall of the drivers. I will link a great guide for this below for you to follow that was made here on OCN.

Also as far as the +20% thing, that is in the CCC ATI Overdrive Control Panel. (What a mouthful) I read an article on Tech PowerUP that I followed to unlock all 3 of my cards that advised sliding it to that power setting. I'll provide that link further down as well for you.

BFBC2 Fix/Workaround Thread Here

ATI Drivers Uninstall/Install Guide

Tech PowerUP Guide For 6950 > 6970 Here

OP, I hope this stuff helps you out and solves your problem! Sorry that you probably still have to use CCC =\\

To tell you the truth, I was banging my head on the wall trying to overclock with MSI AB when I crossfired. It was fine for one card. Finally ditched and just did with CCC. Absolutely no issue. I use MSI AB just for monitoring.
Just as a test, uninstall your drivers and install the whole package. To see if you missed something when you tried to install without CCC. Then go from there. I think you can just let CCC sit there and do everything using MSI AB if you swing that way.

It's because of powerplay. Disable powerplay, set your clocks with AB, then "CLOSE" AB. It's kind of a say wut lol thing but it works.

Figured as much - it was a powerplay issue. But I am happy with my current setup. If I ever get the itch to go higher and need volts, I will think about trying MSI AB again.
