The anticipated airflow is shown in the 3rd pic below.
If you install the rad/fan to the case's rear top location as intake, there is a high possibility of sucking the hot air exhausted by the PSU. If the case does not have active ventilation at its rear (eg usually just sitting close to a wall), PSU's exhaust hot air can get accumulated in that region real quick. Therefore, that case rear fan should be exhausting.

Pic 1 and 2 show actual examples.

Looks great! However, I've decided that i'm going to do the rasa 750 kit instead, and fit it in the roof.

However, that means all that hot exhausted from my gpu would be going up into the rad. Would the temps still be worth it?

You could run the top fans as intake. Common sense would have you think that convection would make this a bad idea, but its influence is minor in comparision with fans.

Last time I tried that, the fans made a horrid noise like they were rubbing up against the top panel. This was with gentle typhoons though, so maybe it is different with my current fans, but I would still much rather just have them exhausting.

I had that pump before and it made this horrible ticking sound. The only way to describe it is it sounded like a really old hard drive at full load. Wasn't pleasant at all, and I eventually replaced it. I hear some people say that theirs is quiet, but I have very quiet fans in my rig. I also heard though that there were a bad run of these, maybe they fixed the issue they were having.

Just fyi-i seen earlyer you were thinking of going with the corsair h60, just to let you know-even though you changed your mind on cooler set up--the Antec H2o 620 ships free and its only 69.95 from antec. And beats or matches anything in its class, plus 3rd gen cold plate-lots better hoses and 3 year warrenty, plus the fan is a realy nice one and comes with Shin-Etsu/x-23-7868-2d tim.

Fan for 620

Bearing Type: Sleeve

Rated Volt: 12.0V

Rated Speed: 2,000rpm +/-10%

Max. Air Flow: 81.32 CFM

Max. Static Air Pressure: 3.394 mm-H2O

Noise Level: 27.36 dBA (Max.)
