Where are all the moderately priced fingertip mice at?

I've been using cheap ambidextrous mice like Dell and Logitech for a long time. I saw the MX518 on sale so I made the jump into the whole gaming hardware thing. Didn't work out too well. Got a G500 instead, same thing.

So now I have a DeathAdder Black Edition and it's a lot better than the two previous mice but I still don't feel 100% comfortable with it. I've used the IMO 1.1 back in the day when it was new and I don't see myself buying an old mouse with low DPI. I don't have a giant mouse pad or the room for one nor do I want to do big swipes. The Xai looks promising but it's way too expensive.

tl;dr Any $50 fingertip mouse with side buttons or am I out of luck?

... Big swipes? Let's imagine a standard 1920 pixel monitor. Hmm. 1920/400 = wow. Less than five inches at 6/11 to move your cursor across the screen wow what a big swipe

wow omg i would die. Wow five icnhes. Omg. That's longer than my own wang so my wrist isn't used to those kinds of lengthy movements wow five inches holy cow.

Your out of luck. Get used to the deathadder, it's probally the best you can get imo.

Really lol'ed at this.

I also dont like to do "big sweeps" to move my mouse from edge to edge.. maybe ~3" diagonally. Thats why the WMO is pretty much unusable to me aside from the ****ty tracking it offers.

As what the above poster said, G9x if the grip is ok with you. Sensor wise it feels just like all other mices including the Xai.

sorry guys. last night i learned that my beloved Kramer is a racist, and I just don't know how to feel.

On topic. I'd take the xai over the g9x. the xai is like a wmo but with side buttons, more weight, more LOD, a crappier sensor and a higher price. g9x is the same but it isn't like a wmo and is even HEAVIER. I wouldn't take the Deathadder either. Although it has a great sensor, it's palm-grip, heavy and has a high price. For palm I would go with an IME 3.0.

The Xai is very long like the wmo, not so good for finger tipping unless you have big hands. The G9x, with the precision grip, have a weird shape and it just wants to slide to your palm for claw gripping. The sensor isn't centered either. I have some trouble finger tipping it but maybe I could get used to it after lots of practices.

Finger tippers needs some love

Deathadder heavy? Please. It weighs virtually nothing, though I have one of the original versions that arent 3000dpi.
