30 Degree Celcius range on CPU Temps? This can't be normal.

I just played Mass Effect for the first time and I noticed my CPU Heatsink was getting pretty loud, so I decided to close it and check my temps, and I saw a 30 degree range.

What could be the cause of this? Did ME (the first one btw) just use a single core or something?

Isn't that just a reading of the lowest and highest temps the CPU has hit since temp recording began?

I think it is. It's not saying that you have a 30C difference in cores.

Kind of like MSI AB: It shows the temp range the device has hit since you started watching temps.

Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info!
