what kind of dvi cable should i buy

my monitor is u2311h and my graphic card is nvidia 570 gtx, as of now im using vgacable, i noticed there are different kinds of dvi cable so which cable is true digital format?

Just a standard DVI cable will work,No need for anything special.

Make sure you get a dual link DVI cable, the make is personal preference. I usually go for belkin, as their good quality.

There should already be a DVI cable that came with your monitor.

It really doesn't matter. DVI and HDMI are both digital signals. The signal is either going to get there or it isn't. As long as the cable works it will work just as well as any other cable. Don't get suckered into Monster Cables and their "gold plated" connectors. Unless you are using it for an absurd distance (50 feet) it will not make a difference.

You can get decent cables for 20 euro.. i mean, if your going to fork out for a good monitor, you might aswell fork over another 20 to make sure your getting the full deal from your screen, hdmi cables dont matter, anyone will do, but from my own experience, your better off paying a few euro extra for a half decent DVI, but its personal pref, alot of people don't care.
