Dual link DVI is a type of DVI cable with more connections than a single link DVI. This grants higher resolutions if the monitor supports it.

You don't need dual link unless your individual monitor is 2560x1440+ or 1920x1080 @ 120hz. Dual monitors changes nothing. One dual link DVI will only power one monitor, while two single link DVI can power two monitors, but not the most highest bandwidth requiring ones.

Why are ye all bias against dual? lol, their the same price as single, theres 0 downside to getting a dual DVI over a single, higher possible res, more bandwidth on the cable ..
