As said, an aftermarket cooler is a must.
Really, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get something like an H50 or H70. Air cooling is fine and would probably suit your needs (assuming you don't have some beasty GPUs,) but when you can get a closed loop liquid cooling solution for a comparable price, why not?
I've been really happy with my H70. I don't see temps above 55C under load, and I'm running my OC 24/7, not to mention it keeps all the hot air out of my case and away from my graphics cards.

its kind of a cross between both lol im using the pump/water block of the h50 with a swiftech micro res and some chemical/high heat tubing brass fittings a fuel filter and a radiator from a broken h70 that i swiped out of a computer that i was given the pump was shot so i cut off the radiator and switched it from the h50 model. what i want to do is get a second rad to mount in the rear of the case for a loop that goes res > rad >pump/waterblock > rad > res

I've seen 60C after running Prime95 for a bit, but no higher.
Great results with the H70 here.

hyper 212+ is the best starting point for a cheap non stock cooler.

like they are saying, if you plan of OC'ing, get an aftermarket cooler. A decent case with good flow is also a must. Your chip is running WAY to hot on idle and load imo. You could use the H50/60/70 cooler's, they do work alright but there are better out there. Silver Arrow,D-14,and mega with the right fan combo all put those the hybrid water coolers to shame now days. If your going to do water get a rasta kit at the least. Would be better to build your own water kit.

Long and short, if your broke or dont want to drop some cash get a hyper 212+ with a second stock fan for push pull. If you want to jump up a notch, Megahelms would be it...if you want the best you can get without jumping into making a water loop, Silver arrow or D-14..flip a coin lol.hope this helps

Good* you mean?

Yes, a hyper 212+ could easily handle a 2500k at even high overclocks.

And why does your avatar say "Intel Inside, Idiot Outside" if you have an Intel?

*facepalm*
