Watching movies on Samsung LN46C630

Thread Starter
i just got this LCD tv a couple days ago. its my first hdtv. i got HD cable as well. i noticed some movies on cable look like they are at really low fps... very choppy. i went to film mode settings, and switched around from "off" to "auto1" to "auto2" and they film still looks choppy.

some movies i switch the settings to auto1 and the choppyness goes away. but im watching top gun on an HD channel in 1080i, and its really choppy. law and order: svu also was choppy in hd.

anybody know what settings i gotta adjust?

Dude
Check if there is a firmware update.
Second make sure your settings are default.
If that doesn't help then the source of your videos are not HD
Hope this helps
