D-Link DGL-4300 Wireless Help Please

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I have a D-Link DGL-4300 Wireless N gaming router. I have been trying to figure out how to get it to broadcast faster. It's still stuck at 54mbps. I know there is a way to double that, to get it to 108mbps but I can't for the life of me figure it out. Networking is one field I do not have a lot of knowledge in so any advice would help me out. I don't know what the majority of the settings mean so I don't tend to play around with them much. If anyone has this router and can give me a brief explanation on how to set it up, it would be greatly appreciated.

(I did buy a Roswill RNX-N180UBE 300mbps wireless N adapter to use for this)

helps if you set it up like they suggest.

* The IEEE 802.11n Draft prohibits using High Throughput with WEP or TKIP as the unicast cipher. If you use these encryption methods (e.g. WEP, WPA-TKIP), your data rate will drop to 54 Mbps. Rosewill recommend setting your router’s wireless encryption as WPA-AES or WPA2-AES or update the latest firmware, in order to keep your wireless transfer rate at N speed.
