New build

Hi guys,

I'm new to this community, but thanks in advance for welcoming me! Apologies if this post is in the wrong category.

I have a list of parts for a new machine I want to buy this weekend (newegg) and have a few concerns that maybe someone can help out with. The parts are under the system name "Tentative".

My main concern is the size of the heatsinks on the memory, and if they'll fit next to a Corsair A50 or Cooler Master Hyper 212.

1) Will they fit? (A lot of people seem to be having issues, but with other mobos)
2) I've heard that I can remove/replace those huge memory heatsinks as they're mostly aesthetic (I won't be overclocking the memory). Thoughts?

Another lesser concern is whether those coolers will fit into the Storm Scout case. I found an awesome Storm Scout owners page on this forum that probably has the info, but maybe someone has a quick answer to save me some time

Thanks in advance, and I'm excited to share my experience with you all!

I don't know that you can remove the heatsinks on the Vengeance series. I kknow on the Dominator's you can unscrew the top fin. Unless there is just some ungodly deal for Corsair I would look at G Skill.

you shouldn't be running into clearance issues with the hyper 212+, not 100% sure about the A50 but you should be fine there also. If you had the SA or D14 that is where the problem would become apparent.

Get the noctua NH-C14, It will cool your cpu and memory at the same time . I can confirm the hyper 212+ cooler WILL fit with this ram.
