Bios temps differ from CoreTemp

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

Recently discovered that the BIOS reports my CPU to be at 50C Idle, yet both Coretemp and Realtemp report an idle temperature of around 35-40C. This worries me as I currently have temperatures maxed out at 60C with my overclock according to the Coretemp.

Which one to believe?

The idle temperature in the BIOS is not the true idle temperature because there's a little bit of load on the CPU.

So go by what Real Temp or Core Temp says.
