Replacement for my mx518

I currently have 2x mx518(one for work and one for home) which I owned for many years. I use the mouse at the minimum DPI without the driver (400 I think) and I think I use a claw grip (my hands follow the curve of the mouse but it is around 1cm above it). I aim mainly by wrist and control the mouse(left-right) by thumb and ring finger/pinky(leaving my index and middle finger the only finger above the mouse). I usually play FPS/MMO games and at work I do programmation.

I like everything about this mouse, except it is noisy(but I don't mind so much about it) and the mouse wheel is hard to press. I started to use more the mouse wheel click in games and in web browsers... and now the tip of my index finger hurt at the end of the day because I use that button too much. I think the shape of the mouse wheel is the cause of the pain.

I would like to find a mouse similar in shape to the mx518, which would be also good for gaming, with a mouse wheel easier to press(less noisy would be a plus).

I would like to know a few models that could satisfy my needs.

[EDIT] Clarified a few things

You'd probably like the g500, it can switch between free and click scrolling on its wheel. Just make sure you're okay with the built in accel of the sensor and the weight.

Not sure how great it is for a claw grip though.

You don't want the g500 for claw grip if you rest your thumb on the mouse pad.
I own both the g500 and the Deathadder 3500dpi. I'd go with the deathadder for claw grip.

It's not. Neither is it a good mouse at all.

Deathadder is not a claw grip mouse either. It's blatantly bulky and ergonomic.

Get an Abyssus instead. Same flawless sensor as the Deathadder in a superior shape.

Thanks everyone for your suggestion/ideas. After a bit of reading on the new PureTrak Valor, I decided to pre-order it and see how it goes. I will continue my search if the Valor doesn't fit my needs.
