There would be so much that they could do with it. On the negative side, console exclusive games probably would look better than pc games for a little while.
There's no use debating when this is the opposition.

I'm done here.

PC gaming takes skill, console gaming takes skill. Some skills overlap, some skills don't. Mouse and Keyboard is the best way to control for FPS because you can turn 10x faster and you have better control of where you're looking and aiming, so of course a PC gamer using PC controls against a console player is going to dominate. Different controls, different game. It doesn't mean it doesn't take skill to be good at gaming on consoles. It does!

95% of the time i'd rather sit on my couch and play w/ a controller and not deal with unwieldy mouse and keyboard when i want to play for a few minutes. Consoles have benefits over PC - the converse is also true. PC has better graphics, more mods, free online play, etc. They are just different. It doesnt make one OBJECTIVELY worse than another, it ultimately comes down to personal preference.

So if this is true than the next Xbox probably won't offer anything much more from what the 360 did and the graphics will be about the same as what we can do on the PC now with game settings maxed out.

lol...whut?
I'm not the opposition. I don't play consoles. I dont even own one.

I was just daydreaming. If the xbox3 got those kinds of specs, we would definitely see the benefits of it on PC.

On the subject of elite-ness, I don't think one is more elite than the other purely because of the method they use to control; indeed, I bet if some pro-console players at stuff like Halo tourneys etc, got used to mouse + kb, they'd have similar levels of success. I like consoles because I get to play games that don't often reach PC's. I like them because I can relax with them. I use my PC predominantly, but I can't get uncharted 2 on PC, I can't get Zelda on PC. That's more or less my reasoning.

It's cool that MS is working on something, with all of the rumours of the new Nintendo coming out. Even if it ends up being a fairly mild upgrade, like with more memory, something more current in video, and at least a 1TB drive for media storage, it will be worth it. These are the biggest limits the XBox 360 has, because it has enough CPU to run the games, but not enough memory or storage for media center uses.
