h57h-am2 motherboard?

Hi guys been trying to see about overclocking my cpu but I'm new to it and running into some issues. Long story short, I can't find much information about my motherboard, I believe it is h57h-am2 model. When in BIOS I can view my voltages but there is no option to change them. I have gathered from my reading that some motherboards do not allow overclocking. Does anyone know if this model is one of them?

This is my computer-

http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/529668743.php

There was a sticker on the board with h57h-am2 on it which leads me to think that is the model number.

Done a lot of googling but I must be looking in all the wrong places...

Thanks a lot for any information!

Edit: http://www.overclock.net/faqs/12027-info-can-i-overclock-my-computer.html

I found this here which mentions a lot of big box brands not being overclockable in bios(i guess?) but may be doable with software, but the link is dead. Is there a new thread for this?

Download CPU-Z and install + run it. It'll tell you the make and model of your motherboard. Then we can go from there. Although I have to say the motherboards they use in these box brands will have very little support. I recently checked out the motherboard of my gf's parent's HP Compaq and they had an Asus Benecia motherboard which had no support on the Asus site for drivers or anything.

CPU-Z is showing a core voltage of 2.9v. Pretty sure I read here that it was supposed to stay under around 1.4v. I can't find anywhere bios to enable/disable hyperthreading either.. only turboboost. My cpu does not have a graph in task manager for hyperthreading as shown here http://www.overclock.net/faqs/74989-info-has-your-intel-cpu-got.html , so IDK if it's even working.

I bought a premade system hoping to learn to do my own tweaking so that I can build my next one. Overclocking the gpu was easy, but not having much luck with cpu...

Thanks again for anyone who can shed some light on this for a noob lol.

Can you post a pic of your task manager window please? Like the one you linked to in your post.

It's interesting that CPU-Z can't read the motherboard model, can you open up the case at all to have a look at the board or will it void your warranty?

1: You cant hard overclock on OEM boards.
2: That voltage sensor is un or mis-calibrated.
3: #2 tells me you cannot adjust your voltage; if so, do not attempt to overclock.
4: You are using the stock cooler. Do not go any further.

Not to mention that case is most likely horrible for airflow and probably only has 1 exhaust fan.
