Is that better than a G2? I see the Motorola Defy is on sale now as well, anyone know anything about that phone?

i kinda skimmed through this thread but im in the same situation so ive done som reasearch and my eyes seem to be glued to the HTC sensation supposely coming out june 8th as the tmobile rep told me on the phone. Another great phone coming out in q3 2011 is the samsung Galaxy S 2 which is out in other countries. take a look at both of those first. If your contract is up you maybe able to get them to transfer you to the loyalty dept where they could offer you some better deals in plans and etc.

HTC SENSATION
Samsung Galaxy S II ( S2) < top two andriod phones coming out in the US

both phones will cost 199 with 2 year contract most likely but i think its pretty worth it if not by then most of the older phones will be at a lower price or free.

@ the GOOGLE i/o which was just a couple of days ago they said most phones will be upgradeable in firmware up to 18 months base on the phones hardware i believe.. not sure but around that time. Both the HTC sensation and samsung galaxy s2 will have dual core processors.. and will come with Gingerbread 2.3 and icecream should be upgradeable.. not sure but from the google conference yes.

Thanks for the info, I might wait till the new ones are out then possibly. Do you think the HD2 will have a good chance of getting the upgrade?

I'm kind of tired of being so busy with school/work/life to not be able to keep up with everything like I used to.

You mean to win mo 7? Nope, not gonna happen. I think it was something to do with the amount of buttons available or something... mind you people have hacked android, win mo 7 and various other OS's (including windows 7!) onto it. If you have one, keep and hack

I actually was talking about Android 3.0. I guess I'll look into what I can do with it.

Btw, meant Tmobile G2, not the HD2 it was pretty late last night wasn't thinking clearly.

My vote goes to the samsung vibrant. Haven't checked lately on the price, but its an amazing phone. I flashed it, and overclocked it. Its what i'm using at the moment to post this.

T-Mobile G2x, because it has a dual core Tegra 2 processor.

^ Agree, G2x has great battery life from what I hear and can shoot 1080p video (no sound I think, might come with a software update).

Not sure if you guys remember the first post, but I said I was only paying 50$. It's been a while since I've taken a math class but I'm pretty sure 50 doesn't equal 200, thanks for the suggestion but that's way out of my price range.
