"This story is a total fabrication – 100 percent not true," said EA VP of communications Jeff Brown in a statement to Kotaku.
Ahhh, gotta love it.

I had a feeling after I read an article about it.

Quote:
The source, which does not work for either EA or Microsoft, had no specific information about the hardware except that it came in a PC shell and was shipped to EA last month.
I'm sorry, but at this early, you'd have to be internal to know anything for certain.

I wonder if the new Xbox will also break under normal usage.

Like everything in life, probably. My PC broke once under normal use, as has my car...

The story about someone spotting it may be a fabrication, but you can bet they have some sort of dev kit going on. The console release date is still a ways off, but game development needs to be going on now for launch titles

Yes this I remember too. Still can't believe Microsoft of all companies used PowerMac's of all things to demo their next console.
