I am looking at installing a new graphics card (budget option for now)

its a:

--nvidia Geforce 550 Ti--

The box says it requires 400W minimum, but I currently have only a 350W PSU.

Just wondering if anyone knows whether I could use it with the current 350W PSU for a few weeks til I can afford an upgrade to an http://www.be-quiet.net/be-quiet.net...websiteLang=en

Would love to find out and start a discussion if anyone doesnt mind?

Just had a look through the PSU's on http://www.overclock.net/power-suppl...-supplies.html and as I am based in UK, would the following be a worthy addition for now?

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/550w-...nt-cooling-fan

also the fact I could walk into the shop as its very local to me is another bonue.

Comments please

I admit this one wasnt one I built myself merely modified a shop bought PC..

I added a decent upgrade to the graphics card and added 2GB of RAM (DDR2)

to be honest I'm wishing to play all my games in stereoscopic 3d (Warcraft Cataclysm for my sins ) and also 3D films, I have the Nvidia vision kit and graphics card already just waiting for the 3D monitor to arrive.

to be fair it was a big decision...do i build a new system or buy the 3D kit needed for the system I currently have...I went for the latter option and saved myself a bit of money.
