Hello everyone, want to help me along?

Hey everyone, I've been passionate about computers from a very young age, messing around in Macromedia Flash MX 8 were the days. Anyways, the time has come for me to build my own computer, as I now have a job. I'm still only young, just turned 16 and got my drivers licence (w00t) but it's time to build my first rig.

I've been looking around online and in magazines for quite some time but i just want to make sure all of these parts will work together.

Case -- CoolerMaster HAF X Case - $229.00

Power Supply -- Corsair AX850 Gold Power Supply - $255.00
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=15251

Keyboard (mechanical) -- Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical Keyboard $149.00

Monitor -- Samsung 24" BX2450 $338.00

This is in Australian money tho, so all of those websites are Australian. I believe that i got some good prices.

Any suggestions or criticism?
Oh and yes, i do have a mouse and surround sound speakers already, so they're not included on that list. bai.

For starters: NEVER get 2 mid grade cards for the express purpose of SLI/Crossfiring them. It is wasteful and you can achieve superior results using a single card for less cost. If you need that much GPU power, get a GTX 580. It should come cheaper than the two 560s.

Storage/secondary drives, which i am assuming the 1TB device is, dont need to be that high performance. Get either a samsung spinpoint F4 or western digital caviar blue. Both will be cheaper and offer more than adequate performance.

a 40GB SSD will not cut it. After everything is said and done, it will be packed to the brim, and a fully stuffed SSD can be a PITA sometimes. A 64GB or 80GB OCZ or Intel SSD will be more suitable.

If you plan to SLI a pair of 580s together sometime in the future, the PSU will be adequate for the purpose.

everything else should be fine. Also, what motherboard are you getting?

http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/produc...sort=price_dsc

I agree with;

@Cyrious the best single GPU for $610.00, rather then getting 2 sub standard GPUs,

@IRJASONN, shame you mentioned it, imagine the look on the poor guys face when trys to put it together.

and get a h70 and oc that thing!
