4. 3dmark is saying it's comparable with users with the same core components as you. As in they also have an X6 processor. Yes, you have a CPU bottleneck. No, it will not give you worse performance than before.
5. The resolution makes a huge difference on performance. If those reviews you're looking at aren't in Eyefinity, it's a pointless comparison.
Your PDF lied. I had to load 11.3 CAP 3 with 11.4 final drivers to get Dirt 2 to utilize all 3 of my GPUs for my Tri-fire setup.

Make sure you install catalyst crossfire profiles. They're like 0.5mb and it's very important for your crossfire set up.

My card might be working well after all.... the only games i seem to have issues with are FFXIV which is known to not support crossfire.. even after using the hack it didnt make a difference.

Bulletstorm too apparnetly is buggy... poor crossfire performance and AA + other options seem to not work correctly but still i dont understand how that reviewer got 60FPS with the same card as me and i only get 10FPS even if i do have a CPU bottleneck...50FPS is a huge difference.

Any pictures of that 6990 in the Antec 900?

I'm sure most people would love to see it.

Your power supply may be why you're getting 50 fps lower than the reviewer. It's the only thing I can think of, aside from updating drivers.

I wouldn't bother using the AUSUM switch on that PSU, it raises power consumption for the GPU quite a bit. Up to 450W in fact.

Here's how much juice you would need for AUSUM mode:

That's way off. Two 6990's would draw that amount of power, not a single. I ran my single 6990 off a PCP&C 750watt PSU.

Get the latest Crossfire profiles, download GPU-Z and post a screen of it here.

Note the CAP’s are additive, so the latest CAP always include all of the previous CAP updates as well.
From AMD's driver support website. Did you also try intalling 11.4 CAP1? I don't believe it's included in the regular driver download. That's why there's a second button that's not under "Individual Download" or "Optional Download".

Maybe your Bulletstorm is acting buggy. Have you tried running it not in Eyefinity to see if you still aren't getting the right performance? Also try updating/patching or even a reinstall if that doesn't work.

Got the crossfire profiles installed...

My performance is not on par with any on the reviewers at all. I am starting to see an increase over my old 5870 but nothing worth 800$... maybe a 5-10FPS increase depending on the game.

I tried the switch on the card but it still remained at 830MHZ.. GPUZ said the default clock was 880 tho'. I had to use overdrive in CCC to get it to 880.

EDIT:

I forgot to mention that i got 2 BSOD since i installed this card.... error message is atikmpag.sys

Tried buletstorm again and still got 10FPS in eyefinity max settings.

Anyone can tell me how i can make sure my card is using both cores?
