From AMD's driver support website. Did you also try intalling 11.4 CAP1? I don't believe it's included in the regular driver download. That's why there's a second button that's not under "Individual Download" or "Optional Download".

Maybe your Bulletstorm is acting buggy. Have you tried running it not in Eyefinity to see if you still aren't getting the right performance? Also try updating/patching or even a reinstall if that doesn't work.

FFXIV is not playing well too.... i was getting better FPS in that game with my old card.

The only games performing well are prince of persia and Just cause 2 which both give me 60FPS in Eyefinity 5K res....

The other games like Need for Speed shift 2, FFXIV, bulletstorm show a decrease in performance.

It could be a crossfire compatibility issue but then why would the reviewer get 60FPS in bulletstorm with Eyefinity resolution and not me? i get 10FPs....way far.

plus those 2 BSOD are scaring me... i reinstalled the drivers over 5 times since i got the card to make it work... each time i cleaned everything up and used driver sweaper so i know they are installed correctly.

Does getting BSOD = defective card?

Uninstall drivers, shut PC down. Turn the OC switch on, start up your PC. Install 11.4, restart. Go to the settings and go to overdrive tab, make sure you have +20 power control on both cores, and in the CrossFireX tab the Crossfire is on.

You need to disable ULPS, the BSOD's are coming from it being ON.

Uh, have you seen the gaming benchmarks between Sandy Bridge and the Phenom II's?

50 FPS wasn't unheard of.

The switch is already turned on. I removed and reinstalled the 11.4 drivers more times then i can remember.

The overdrive tab shows Power control in the middle (0%). I pushed it to 20% max on both cores and applied.

There is no crossfire tab. I was told i wouldnt see one anyways with a 6990.

One thing i find weird is if i run Heaven benchmark in window mode, 1680X1050 with the regular settings and have overdrive open i can see the first core go to max speed during the rendering. but if i go to the drop down menu and chose the 2nd core, it stays at 250MHZ core and 150MHZ memory.

yes there is a problem, no argument there. But I must also say that I have also seen Intel CPU pull 20 FPS ahead of an AMD CPU with the same cards.

When I say turn stuff down I am talking AA and AF.

But if that (or) none of this works, the stuff that is suggested then it's time to RMA.

How do i prove to Sapphire something is wrong with the card? isnt there a test or tool i can use to make sure the card is working as it should?

Two driver sets, maybe PHYSX ????

Also that rig is born of this type of gaming, in other words that machine would (sorry for the wording) crap 10 times over our tiny little Thuban based CPU's.

But $2767

On CPU,RAM,SSD,MOBO,PSU is a good indicator of the caliber of system your stacking your thuban against.

I would just run a series of benchmarks (Furmark,3D mark 06,vantage,11. Maybe some Heaven runs.) and compare to a system of similar build and if it's substantially lower performance then run them again and get screen grabs. After that I would submit all my findings to Sapphire and see if you can speak to a level 2 technician and let them know what is going on.

Once they have been notified, they may want you to do further testing or they will issue you with an RMA ticket.

Another point, only be reasonable if they are being reasonable. If they give you a hard time, then flex muscle.

One thing to remember is to be realistic about the results you are comparing to, So don't compare to a 980/990x system they are in another world of performance.
