PC-K58W or the Storm Scout

Which case would you choose? I was initially thinking the scout but was reading the reviews and people are saying it's not grounded properly and has static electricity issues. I also live in the south so which case do you think would run cooler?

I think the Storm Scout would be better than the K58. It's one of the better cases for airflow. So it should keep everything cool; where's it not grounded properly?

The Storm Scout is one of the best cases for airflow?

I'd get the LIAN Li PC-K58W. It's MUCH more elegant and the feature set is comparable to the Storm Scout, plus it's not begging for your attention. That, and it's $20 cheaper. If you want a case with a lot of features and space, you can get the HAF 922 for only $10 more than the Storm Scout. Out of those three I'd definitely say the Storm Scout is the worst.

If you read a lot of reviews on newegg people are complaining about random restarts when bumping or touching the front panel on the storm scout. I also used google to do some research and found people having the same problems. I think I'm just going to avoid the scout altogether despite it's awesome look and features.

edit - Yeah I'm going to go with the Lian Li. I've got my build perfected now I believe and the great thing is I don't have to a single mail in rebate and still got some great deals!!!

Not one of the best, but definitely not the worst ever. I agree there are many other cases with better airflow.

Okay. If you want tons of features and room for lots of hardware, get the HAF 922. If you want an elegant, better looking (IMO) case but can give up some features I'd go for the LIAN Li.

As axel said, it depends on what you want. The K58 does look better than the HAF, but I've used the 922 before in a build and it was one of the easier cases to work with due to the amount of room in it.

922 does look amazing but it puts me over my budget for my build. The scout with promo + MIR was 70 and the lian li is 70 also.

I'd rather not wait for MIR. Still, though, at the same price I'd go for the LIAN Li. The Storm Scout only offers a few more features plus you have a case that looks rather ugly (IMO).
