Well on their way to being a monopoly, even more so than they already are.
AMD would most likely get killed off in the process,if this happens I'd go to a Android tablet for my surfing needs, and to consoles for gaming before going back to Intel.

You seem to miss the point. The whole reason Intel has much better technology and cutting edge performance,is all because of the illegal practices against AMD. If AMD wasn't held back by Intel's schemes, they would be nearly equal, and would have recuperated losses by acquiring ATI much quicker than they did, leaving AMD with more R&D funds to be put into CPU tech. Phenom wouldn't have been crappy,Phenom II would have came sooner and would have been faster,Bulldozer would have been released sooner.

When you produce the best product, you win. Intel is winning. There's no reason to love or hate either company. You really should just get over your pointless hate. I don't care which company wins, I just want the best available product, and right now Intel is doing an awesome job with new tech.

How can you prove this? This is all purely your opinion. AND, does it really matter to us? It has no effect on the way I live my life. I still gotta get up in the morning and go to work to pay the bills. I'm not losing any sleep over this.

Don't cry for AMD, they don't care about you. Their executives are filthy rich too; I don't feel sorry.

Prove the truth that is already there, lol what?
Or are you just trying to justify Intel's illegal practices because they make better CPU's?( which all comes back to their illegal practices) Go look a few pages back, the stories & links are clear to see. I don't mean to offend you, though you seem to come off as a Intel fanboy. I probably seem like a AMD fanboy to you,I just don't like how the competition does business. AMD's executives are rich? Sure, but not nearly as filthy rich as Intel's execs. It will affect the way you live if you want/need a computer,if AMD goes under Intel can charge whatever they like for their products, not that they already do,though don't QQ when Intel's low end chips are <$300.

Has intel done shady things in the past? Yes. Have they paid for it? Yes. Does that change the fact that intel has the better cpus by far as of now? No. I haven't seen a single person trying to justify intels past business practices in this thread. Just people pointing out the fact that AMD is not competitive at anything other then the low end as of this moment.

Check my rig, I run an AMD/ATI video card. No fanboyism here.

Business is business, life goes on. Who really cares?? I don't care if Intel execs are richer than AMD. All I want is the best performance for my dollar. If it's AMD, I'll take it; if it's Intel, I'll take it. You act like the people at AMD are saints. AMD is just as guilty at the pricing game... when Fermi stuttered on it's release, AMD made us pay top dollar for their video cards.

Like I've said before...... neither AMD or Intel care about you or me, they just want our $$$; and with that being said, it looks like the 22nm Intel chips are going to be awesome. Sounds like a fun line of chips to look forward to.

This will probably be the last news thread I read or at least respond to. The overall quality of OCN has fallen to the pits with a constant supply of e-thug noobs trying to build "street credit" by trying to show other people up and fanboys who have nothing else to offer in their sad, pathetic lives than to clash on the net with their e-peens and retarded levels of intelligence and inexplicable obsessive crush to certain companies that only care about their piggy banks.

As a passing note to hopefully draw out all the fanboys on this site to ultimately ignore them, I leave those idiots with one final message before my ignore spree:
You fanboys are like crotch rot; with the exception of your own ilk, everyone wishes that you would just throw yourselves off the nearest multi-story building and DIE.
