What is the cheapest I can get a HAF X for

I live in CA.
So yes I am subject to tax from Newegg.

I saw an ad for Microcenter on the HAF X:
$180 + 9.75% tax + in store pickup - $15 MIR = $182

I can get it from Amazon right now:
$190 + no tax + free shipping = $190

These are the best prices I can find.

What's the cheapest I can get a HAF X for? I'm willing to buy from any retailer so long as they don't charge ridiculous amounts for shipping

Im curious on this too. I need to upgrade my case, its getting a little crammed in my antec 902. Also a side fan would do nicely, and extra room will be nice too.

My guess would be to try ebay or see if you can find one on craigslist. Happy shopping

Fry's has it for $189 + 9.75% tax. That totals to about almost $210.

I don't know if I can trust eBay on this one. I guess the real question is "Am I willing to spend $10 for the reassurance that I'm buying from a reliable seller?"

You can save a lot of $ if you get a HAF932 and paint the inside black.
The only thing you will really be missing is the 2 top 200m fans (only 1x200m on top) and the big side window (smaller side window with 1x200m fan).
This works great if you don't want to dish out the $ for the X but you still want a clean black inside. They are also the same size.

I got it for 119 on newegg...but I just checked and they raised the price up 30 bucks... (154) I am sure you can find it cheaper if you look around.

Here is mine after I painted it.

Nice job.

I want to avoid the HAF932 though because there are only 7 rear PCI slots. I need at least 8, and 9 is even better.

Well, If you subscribed to microcenter newsletter and got the 20% coupon for cases, microcenter would be the cheapest. (I did not get the coupon )

I did get a Microcenter ad a while back which advertised the HAF X for a stupidly low price so I checked their website and it was listed as "unavailable." It has been like that ever since, so not sure what's going on. They didn't respond to my email either.

I ended up buying one from Amazon for $190 shipped no tax.

Edit: Just checked their site and it is now in stock for $200. Assuming 20% off, that would $160 + $16 tax + $17 shipping = $193 sooo no thanks.
