Kingwin is not great...

Had to RMA one of their PSU (the LZ-750), and their RMA service is terrible. They don't give any general timeline for most RMA processing, so you have no idea how long it will take. Second, their RMA status check is terrible as well...doesn't say much except for "Processing" (them waiting to receive the package), "Received" (they received said package), and then idk if there is anything after that because I'm still waiting for the next stage.

So, as you can see, Kingwin is not great, and I would stay away from them if you can help it.

I don't know Chief.. My buddy tried to RMA his Lazer 800 and it was horrible, besides the one that they sent him back had the same issue. Not saying a lot of people are ungrateful and impatient but there service is really bad.

here's the issue I have: They don't communicate with their customers AT ALL. I had to contact THEM to even know what was going on with my RMA. And as for me being grateful that they even honored it, honoring a defective product (that is defective from the companies fault, not the consumers) is EXPECTED of companies (especially those in the computer parts industry). Companies that DO go beyond what's expected of them by keeping in contact with their customers, letting them how some of their services work (because I honestly don't know if I'm getting a refurb, which is most likely, or a new one for my replacement), and other things makes a great company. This company is not that great in my opinion...and not that good either.

Seasonic didn't notify me of my RMA status.

I had troubles with Antec(I had to RMA 3 times and that cost me 3 times the cost of Shipping the power supply back to them) In total it cost me 63-64 dollars in shipping and my power supply was only 69.99 !! what a waste of money eh? Talk about me never wanting to order from Antec ever again, but hey it happens_

You're lucky you only have to RMA once and I hope your replacement won't be DOA or even have the same problems as the one you just RMA'd_ Companies should start paying for the cost of Shipping back RMA items if you have to RMA twice ! <sigh> but what can we do about it eh?

Goodluck on your RMA

Well, they totally lied to me. They said that my PSU was going to be shipped out yesterday, and I have not received any tracking number (which they said I would receive once it's sent out)...another reason why kingwin is not that great of a company...

Hate to break it to you, but alot of companys are like that.

They'll tell you anything to get you off the phone, Sony's an example of a company which will lie to a customer to shut a guy up.

Had problems with Intel as well.
Hell, even Newegg didn't live up to its eggcellent rep. a time or two.

But, that doesn't make them bad companies, just not as consumer freindly as one would like. In the end my products were exchanged and were in working order.

Afterall isn't that what you really want?
A working product.

This is specifically why I pay more for premium brand/warranty. Have you tried contacting where you bought it from?

bought it from newegg, but didn't buy the extended warranty...anyway, when I contacted the RMA department about the status of it, they said that it was being shipped out (last friday), and now that its monday, I'm going to call them directly (cuz I've been talking through email before this)...I don't like being lied too...it makes me mad!! (and you won't like me when I'm mad! )
