Looking for a 27" monitor..

Thread Starter
Hey guys, looking for a 27" monitor (resolution of 1920x1080 is fine) to replace the 32" Television I am using for PS3/Xbox and light PC use... It just lags WAY too much.

LED is a huge bonus and I'd like something with decent colors and possibly an IPS panel.
I'd also need some sort of VESA mounting pattern on the back to wallmount it in place of the 32.

Any ideas on to what to look into? I am looking to spend no more than $600 shipped to my door.

As I mentioned in another thread in this section, I recommend the Viewsonic 27" LCD with 1ms response time. You will have no lag whatsoever and it's 1080p full HD

Quote:
ULTRA FAST RESPONSE TIME
Featuring an ultra fast 1ms response time, the Viewsonic VX2739WM LCD display provides blur-free gaming and video experience.
Only drawback is that it has 1 HDMI input (but has DVI and d-sub so you can connect your PC through there if you'd like/I use the HDMI port for my PC) so you'll have to get an HDMI splitter if you want to use it for both PS3/360.

http://www.viewsonic.com/products/de...s/vx2739wm.htm

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824116441 for $329.99
for $299.99 (you can even get two and set up multiple display lol)

Something to look at for a decent price.

Not looking to do that - I am only running a laptop and would rather not kill my performance with that super high resolution.

After talking with a few OCN members it seems like our best bet is to wait for the Samsung T27A950 to release.

No IPS but it has all of the other goodies, also has component input and optical audio output which is a huge bonus for me.
