Cooler Master V6 Issue

Thread Starter
Hey there.

My question is this,

I have a Micro ATX case, and an ASUS MOBO.

Will this:
COOLER MASTER V6GT
http://www.playtech.co.nz/afawcs0139...ctdetails.html

Fit on this:
ASUS P5G41T-M LX
http://www.playtech.co.nz/afawcs0139...ctdetails.html

And will I be able to put the side case panel on when the V6GT is in this:
AYWUN A1-102 BLACK MICRO ATX CASE WITH 420W PSU
http://www.playtech.co.nz/afawcs0139...ctdetails.html

Some help would be great!

Should fit... Can't find many useful specs though.
hmm ... i think it will fit .. but just barely?.. i suggest getting a different cooler
ive read that the v6gt isnt that great a cooler anyway

it would be better if you can get the CM hyper 212+ instead

Hyper 212+ would probably be considerably more cost-effective, especially for low or moderate overclocks.

Should fit fine...not the best cooler on theplanet but it should fit/work fine in that application. Should even handle a mild OC.

Okay I'm looking at the 212 and it seems to be a lot cheaper and more efficient in cooling. So thanks for making sure I didn't make a stupid choice.

I just thought because the V6GT is massive it would be better. Mistaken!

So just to be sure, the 212+ would fit in my MOBO?

What ^ said, also just to make sure, the V6 might cool a degree or two C better than the coolermaster 212+ the saving grace is that the cooler master*212+* is like half the price, and a second fan and some good paste like ICD7/24k will put it ahead of the V6.

Oh I was a little confused because you said the "cooler master is like half the price," they're both From cooler master.

I figured from websites I usually purchase from the the "Cooler Master 212+ is cheaper than the Cooler Master V6GT. So I figured why not get the 212+ instead and apparently get better cooling! Sweetoes Potatoes.

Oh

Yes I was aware of that, I was more wondering would it Physically fit inside my case. Not just the socket area on the motherboard.
