Phenom II 955 BE Overclocking - Voltage Help @ page3

I keep cranking the OC's higher and higher and its still seems stable after playing a few games. I ran OCCT for a bit and it did not go over 47 degrees (65 max, wouldnt hit 60 on a 955). What would OCCT show to suggest im not running stable clock speeds?

I have the voltage on auto, well because i don't like the MIT BIOS in the gigabyte 890FXA-UD5 and i was not positive on which one to increase voltage but im pretty sure i know which one too...

anyways auto voltage is running 1.4000v on the CPU. should i manually tweak this or is auto alright?
I can submit OCCT results but basically, voltage does not move at all (great PSU Overclock.net recommended!) temps dont go above 47

Main question: when using OCCT or other programs you may suggest, how may i know my CPU is stable, in GPU's artifacts appear etc etc, what about CPU?
this is my first CPU OC.

*looking these temps should i just crank this sucker much higher? Seeing that i can go up to 1.55v and im only using 1.4000v?

**does OC make games run better even though they are not using %100 CPU at stock clock?

*** Don't want to fry this CPU or significantly decrease it's life, would you recommend pushing it further? Should i just crank multipliers or do FSB. For my RAM 2400NB should me fine.

Run Prime 95 for a few hours. If your system crashes (BSOD) then you may need a voltage boost.

run prime 95 over night-if you can run it 6-24 hrs no errors your good to go-most people say 12-24 hrs. AS long as you can trust your temps wont go to high-but-with in about 20 minutes you should see what your highest temp will be all through the test.

The CPU being unstable will show because Prime (or whatever you use) will either error, or you will BSOD.

I personally use 12 hours + of Prime95 Blended, forcing all but 1GB of RAM usage.

take it off auto. Auto is generally always a bad thing when it comes to voltages. Trust me on this.

As far as stability fold for the chimp challenge! (yes a shameless plug)

Testing stability will usually either hang the system, BSOD or restart if it is major or in programs like prime 95 it will fail the calculation if it is relatively mild instability.

alright will do, but should i start at stock and slowly increase then? Also im not entirely positive on which setting to increase voltage. Will CPU voltage alone suffice? I cranked the nb to 2400 from 2000,you think that it is likely that the nb needs a voltage increase as well?
