Why aren't your timings set to the rated 9-9-9 or whatever it is

Good point

I woke up after leaving prime95 on .. and well when i started my computer it said windows shut down from blue screen. I hope i didn't overheat the cpu, but i had a program that claims it will shut down if my cpu reaches 60degrees. But there is no reason for it to heat up, 20 mins in it sat at 46 degrees. Keep in mind i have a aftermarket cooler and 6 case fans.

Someone said auto voltage usually is overkill and sets it to high, but doesn't a blue screen mean i should set it higher then? Or what other setting should i change around?

All i did was play with multipliers and leave voltage to auto

4.026GHz @ 1.392V = 46 degrees. So i should have way more room for OC no?

Well to be honest I don't see 1.392v on a 4.0 GHz holding well at all. What I have seen is voltages upwards of 1.4v and that was a golden chip.

(golden chip): a exceptional example of any branding of a cpu, goes past what the norm is on a lower voltage or able to reach higher clocks.

I had a athlon 6000+ x2 and they where known of having a 3.4GHz average overclock, I pushed mine to 3.679 GHz, hence golden chip.

Thats what i thought, i was surprised that it was running at 1.400V to be honest I thought i got a golden chip because the sales representative seemed keen to giving me the old worn box, and it was done right in Germany according to my chip (possible of two locations of the chip being manufactured). I already got very lucky with my GPU and how easily it overclocked 150mhz at the core no problem with lots of room to spare. Heres my problem, i am new to overclocking and my BIOS well its confusing. Take a good luck at it guys. Heres a new CPU-z after i changed my ram settings xd_1117

Ok i need help with the gigabyte BIOS under the MIT feature, what voltages do i play with? I normally leave it on auto. Im thinking just the vcore voltage first then NB. But which ones do i specifically do? Also... the cpu voltage control menu looks like..
