GPU-Z don't run, freezes

Hello people. Lately i tried to run GPU-Z 5.3 latest and couldn't do it.
I saw logo GPU-Z and it freezes. It is displayed in process like running but no result.
5.3-no
5.2-no
5.1-no
5.0-no
4.9-no
4.8-no
4.7-no
4.6-no
4.5-no
4.4-no
4.3-no
4.2-no
4.1-no
4.0-finally YES

I'm using Windows 7 x64 SP1. Maybe because of SP1 ?
And i also noticed thet this problem apeared with my Raid 0 installation.

Any ideas ? Thank you

Do you have any firewall/security programs running?

No firewall software, except of Norton INTERNET security 2011, but i use it for 3 years
and i checked all GPU-Z exe files with Norton File insight system, no warring,
I've even added GPU-z

Do you specifically need GPU-Z? Would you like me to suggest an alternative?

Try this alternative program. It should work with 7 64bit by the looks of the
guru3d page

thanks for GPU Caps. I've used it some time ago. It gives outstanding info about video adapter and has a lot of tests, BUT. i'm interested in temperature monitoring + GPU usage diagram. And for monitoring GPU-Z is best.

What about Ati-tools or MSI afterburner? Or even EVGA precision tool?YOu can monitor temps with those tools

And you think GPU-z is not best application for monitoring ?

Try right clicking on gpuz shortcut-go properties-then compatability-then run for xp sp3.
that is worth a shot, also go for the latest version of gpuz smile.gif.

I am simply giving you alternative options.I've seen many people use MSI afterbruner and evga precision tools(myself including) and personally, I haven't faced any problems.

You could try what SK| has recommended. Try running it through compatibility mode.
