Getting to 4ghz stable requires a voltage increase to around the 1.42/1.44 point to account for the vdroop with 445 FSB.

If you did want a cooler the Arctic Freezer Pro 7 would do the job for 3.6ghz as the cheap option, but the Thermalright Ultra or Extreme 120mm will definitely handle 3.6Ghz+.

Try settings like this,
CPU multiplier =9
FSB =1600MHz
the one below that =400MHz
CPU voltage =around 1.288 or the one below.

thats for a 3.6 ghz on your motherboard

!!!!!!!!!!!!!Before you even think about Overclocking to 3.6Ghz make sure you have a good CPU Cooler... and i am not talking about what Intel Provides either. If you are still using that, get something better. 3.6Ghz will be out of your reach until then!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT take this advice OP...Getting to 4ghz does not require 1.42/44 volts..I have no idea where you got that terrible idea from andy.pc.

OP Keep increasing your FSB until your pc becomes unstable, then increase vcore. FYI My old E8400 C0 Stepper (Yes C0 stepper, i.e the worst cpu revision) did 4ghz at 1.3625v.
