G'day folks

So running into some heat issues with my unwatercooled components in this case so looking to drop the crappy stock 140mm fans and get some good ones to replace them

Heres best pic of the system ive got sitting around (theres actually a 360 rad in the top with 3xGT's on it also) - its changed a fair bit since then, tubings cleaner now atleast really looking to ditch the slot cooler as it does sweet FA and moves so little air even with high CFM fans that were used to cool my old 240 Rad....

Main 2 heat problems are 1: Ram, 2: VRM's (and to a lesser extent the cards VRam)

So basically, firstly looking to ditch the bottom and the rear 140mm's (the other for HDD's is really fine, HDD's at max hit 30 Deg under heavy use, usually mid 20's) but not sure on quality 140mm fans.

Looking to buy from here in Aus so any suggestions off that page would be great heard good things about the Scythe Slipstream's but what about the rest? (i'd have to wait for the Slipstream's to come back in stock).

Next i was thinking possibly grabbing one of these for the ram, just really not sure, my heatprobe from the fan controller thats just "stuck" between the 2 ram sticks (ie ontop of the heat spreaders) idles at around 45 Deg, goes up over 50 atleast while gaming/heavy load, do you think the extra flow from those 140's would cool those or a ram cooler would be the way to go?

Now the main bit, ive got a Powercolor 4870 1Gb (Their Non-Reference PCB card), the VRM heatsink gets stupidly hot (like i can feel the hot air around it without even touching it, im thinking this is the reason for the card being so unstable as soon as it goes from 780mhz to 800mhz core, or 900>920mhz ram)

so im looking to replace the heatsink thats on it, or atleast replace the TIM thats under it, (Ditching the slot cooler cause barely moves any air, really does nothing at all) and somehow attach a fan to the heatsink (and hopefully get some airflow in the direction of the Vram too) to get that temp down. Anyone seen any good mockups from other people in the past? or any ideas on how i should go about doing this without ruining the look of the setup ?

Cheers
