New build which cooler?

Thread Starter
I have three coolers for a new build and can not decide which one to use.

The new cpu will be a Phenom 965 quad core

the 3 I own are:

Arctic Freezer 64 Pro

Coolermaster Hyper TX3

Gigabyte G-Power

I have never used the Coolermaster but I had decent results with the other 2 on older systems.

Unfortunately I sold the Tuniq thats in my sig.

Thanks for the advice.

If i had to pick one of those three, I'd pick the TX3.

The TX-3 should be the best out of those 3
But if you want a budget cooler just get the CoolerMaster 212+
Its cheap and a very nice cooler.

Thanks everyone,

I will give the tx3 a shot and if I need more looks like I will try the 212+
post #6 of 9
Wow, seriously, the 212+ is just under $50 with shipping now? What a ripoff. If you decide to go with Newegg, go for the Scythe Mugen 2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185142&Tpk=scmg

I got my 212+ at Microcenter for under $25, and I've seen it on sale for about $15.

I was talking specifically about the Newegg price. Insanity on their part, and whoever pays that much for it.
