Good mic for gaming

It's my dad's birthday this coming Friday and I want to get him a great mic so he can play Medal of Honor and talk clearly through Ventrilo. What mics you guys suggest? I am looking for something that transmits clear audio, comfortable to wear, great build quality, and noise cancelling. The reason for the great build quality is that I have a little sister that's not four years old yet, and she's a very curious little girl. Also, she's smart as hell with electronics, which is great. biggrin.gif

The price range: $30-50

Things that can be skimped on: Noise cancellation
Things that are neutral: Comfortability
Things that cannot be skimped on: Clear audio, build quality

Any thoughts on a straight up headset instead?
Assuming he doesn't have some sort of crazy pair of high end cans..

Yes, that's fine. I meant headset/mic anyways. Sorry for the mistake. redface.gif

I used to play that game but decided just go pick up this cheapo labtec thing from office max if you have a decent sound card it should block speakers from playing back into it as well and the thing sounds fine
