Has folding/overclocking weakened my cpu?

The reason I ask is because I can no longer make the deadlines for bonus points on -bigadv units. My CPU is at 100% usage for folding and on a 6900 unit my TPF is 1hour 14mins. When those units first came out, according to my benchmarks, my TPF used to be 42minutes. My overclock is the same as it always has been, 4Ghz.

Why am I folding so much slower than I used to? I'm not doing anything in the background, folding is the only thing open.

Shouldn't make a difference if you're at the same clocks. If a processor is degraded it's after losing a little off its max OC or needs more voltage to get the same OC. Can't say much about the unit as I know eff all about bigadv

If you're still at the same clocks, there's nothing wrong with your CPU.

Maybe the issue is your RAM?

My RAM? Folding is really the only thing I have trouble with. Everything else runs just fine, no crashes or anything like that which usually happens when you have bad RAM.

No, same WUs, the 6900 units like I always used to get.

Dunno then; RAM has a hefty impact on -bigadv so I thought maybe the OC on that might have been an issue.

I suppose its possible, but I have not touched the overclock on my sig since I set it up back in September so everything should be the same as it always was. I'm just so confused as to why all the sudden my CPU takes forever to do folding calculations.

You might want to double check your overclock since those tpf sound very bad. My Evga x58 le resents to stock clocks when it gets unplugged sometimes. I don't know what is wrong with it and really pisses me off sometimes.

Yes, but I have it set so that the gpus run off the 8th thread, and the -bigadv runs on the other 7, so that isnt the problem.
